Nature Force represents Unicity's revolutionary approach to cellular
protection. This product is not an ordinary vitamin or dietary supplement;
instead, it helps minimize the effects of environmental effects on cells
with phytonutrients that are derived from whole foods.* Through a unique
distillation process, Nature Force combines the antioxidants in real food
pigments and cruciferous vegetables with pure, high-quality antioxidant
vitamins for a potent daily formula rich in vitamins and minerals that
are proven free radical scavengers . *
Nature Force contains:
Antioxidant Food Pigments {Tomato lycopene complex (carotenoids), mixed
berry anthocya nosi des, alfalfa chlorophyll complex (chlorophylls)}:
Substances that give natural color to fruits and vegetables. Provide powerful
antioxidant action to scavenge free radicals and limit cell damage.*
Antioxidant Plant Enzymes {catalase, glucose oxidase, peroxida se}: Specialized
vegetable proteins that deactivate peroxides and other free radicals.*
Antioxidant Vegetable Concentrates {broccoli, cabbage, odor-modified garlic,
cauliflower, freeze-dried carrot juice crystals}: Powerful vegetable concentrates
rich in minerals and in vitamins that work as free- radical scavengers.*
Food-Source Polyphenols {green tea concentrate, European wine grape concentrate}:
Phytochemicals that support cellular health.*
Research Brief
What are antioxidants and why are they getting so much attention? Antioxidants
are substances that help fight damage that time and the environment can
do to your body. The principal villain is an element vital to every living
thing on earth: oxygen.
As oxygen is metabolized in your system, it releases unstable, incomplete
oxygen molecules that need to bond with something in order to become stable.
These unstable molecules are called "free radicals." Free radicals often
steal the substances they need from healthy body cells and damage these
cells as well as body proteins, tissues and DNA. Free radicals can also
come from external sources such as environmental pollutants, cigarettes,
alcohol, x-rays and excessive sunlight. In addition, medical conditions
such as viral infections, auto-immune disorders or trauma can produce
free radicals because cells don't burn oxygen as cleanly under these circumstances.
Antioxidants act as free-radical scavengers by bonding with them, causing
free radicals to become stable and helping to limit the damage they can
do to cells.
FAQs
Q: What role does green tea play in the Nature Force formulation?
A: Green tea is rich in plant chemicals called polyphenols of
which EGCG, epigallocatechin gallate, is the most powerful.
Q: What are cruciferous vegetables?
A: These vegetables are members of the cabbage family including:
broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, kale, and mustard greens. The chemical
sulforaphane in these vegetables has been known to have potential disease-fighting
properties.*
Q: Are there any calories in Nature Force?
A: Due to the unique distillation process, the fibers and carbohydrates
that normally contain calories are removed, therefore rendering the vitamins,
minerals, and nutrients calorie free.
Q: Why does the color of the Nature Force tablets differ some-times?
A: Nature Force tablets may vary from batch to batch due to the
mixed berry anthocyanosides and European wine grape concentrate, which
range in color from light red to dark purple, thus influencing the gray
shade of the tablet when mixed with the other ingredients. This does not
affect potency in any way.
Q: How much of each antioxidant vitamin is in the fortification
of a two-tablet serving of Nature Force?
A: Beta-Carotene 10,000 IU (vitamin A activity)
Vitamin C 300 mg (with natural rose hips)
Vitamin E 90 IU (as dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate and d-alpha-tocopheryl
acid succinate)
Selenium 50 mcg (from L-selenomethionine)
Selenium 50 mcg (from L-selenomethionine)
